Past Guest Panelists for Final Pitch Competiton - 2009Jackson's Dragons Den As your instructor, it's my role to assign you a grade for your final oral presentation for BUS477. I feel strongly that grades are only part of the learning experience, however. To that end, I have called a few favors and tapped the heartstrings of several professionals from the Vancouver angel and venture capital community and assembled an expert advisory panel for our last class.

Past Guest Speaker - Reg Nordman, RocketBuildersI am pleased to welcome Reg Nordman who will speak to the class about maintaining a personal brand and the imporntance to success in business and in life. Reg is the Managing Partner of RocketBuilders, a sales and marketing consultancy for high growth companies. He works with large and small companies such as, Asentus, Maximizer, Sophos, Microsoft Canada, and Research in Motion. Previously he has worked in direct and channel sales for major firms such as Unisys and Commodore.
Past Guest Speaker - Albert Leung, SFUDr. Leung will speak on the topic of turning research into business ventures. Albert M. Leung joined the School of Engineering Science, Simon Fraser University (SFU) in 1984 and is now Professor. Dr. Leung’s research interests are physical sensors and microfabrication process developments. He was the founding Director of the Institute of Micromachine and Microfabrication Research at SFU in 1993, and the Director of the School of Engineering Science from 1994-1997.
