Comments:

  • Some assigned readings are hard to understand, and too old
  • I feel that the people, in particular the engineers, should make more effort to show up to guest speakers. Bearing in mind they are writing a project with us, there attendance would confirm their enthusiasm. The current apathy shown at the moment would suggest the totally opposite, however.
  • I find that sometimes we spend quite a lot of time on administrative stuff in the beginning of class; often 45 minutes to an hour. It would be nice to shorten this and have time for groups to meet and get together as it's a great common time that everyone has available at once.

  • I think Roger presented very well and was able to relate to the class. He should keep doing what he's doing the way he's doing it because he's doing a great job.
  • Excellent presentation

7. Overall satisfaction with the class to date.

60% satisfactory, 40% very satisfactory

  • too many assignments , feel should be able to to work more on projects some times then catching up with readings and assignments. sometimes class looses track of focus, prof allows other students to keep talking and not really adding anything to the class. all in all a great class very practical
  • my best class by far, it is excellent to see so much opportunity/knowledge/skills provided to help students get the confidence to pursue their ventures. If anything there may be a slight overload on information on other agencies etc. which can be difficult to take in/fit in with tough schedules.
