As of today, there are 24 students in the class. 11 took the survey. Here's what you are telling me as a class:
Organization
- all agree (4) or strongly agree (9) that the objectives for the class are clear and that I discuss and clarify expectations well
- all feel that the agenda is appropriate and that I keep to the agenda
- all feel that I answer questions well or very well
- all feel that the readings, discussions and assignments are appropriate
- it was suggested that last years' email posts should be separated from this years and one person didn't like getting so much spam from the website. I believe I have now addresses both issues. (You were all notified by email of each time I updated or deleted notes from last year!)
Guest Speakers
- almost everyone gave Pauline a very high rating. One person pointed out that she didn't follow the agenda as well as she might have given the short 1-hour class
- almost everyone gave Jim a very high rating. One person found him a bit difficult to understand
Overall Satisfaction
- one person isn't sure, 4 like the class and the remainder appear to like it a lot
- at least one student feels that a fellow student should share class discussion time a bit more or discuss personal things with instructor outside of the class
Summary and Questions
- collectively, about half of you are telling me you enjoy the class. I have no idea about the other half.
