Ross McDonald is President of CleanWest Capital, a Vancouver corporate finance boutique that helps businesses find money. He will speak on Financing and Early Stage Business.

Ross has 16 years experience, primarily in corporate and investment banking. Ross was recently Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy, for Citigroup Corporate and Investment Bank in London, England; managed support for derivatives proprietary trading for Salomon Brothers in Europe; and audited financial institutions for Ernst & Young LLP. Prior to relocating to Canada, Ross cofounded HomeProud - a real estate refurbishment firm. Increasingly, his professional interests are focussing on the clean technology sector.

Ross completed an Executive MBA at London Business School, England, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and obtained his B.Acc. degree from Glasgow University, Scotland.

Ross writes for multiple glossy business publications, and has articles in the current editions of the Cleantech Investor magazine (article: biofuels) and the Association of Corporate Growth's Mergers & Acquisitions Journal (article: Canadian M&A trends).

Ross has written multiple and read many business plans, prepared financial models and created/delivered lots of presentations on strategic and investment topics.
