Hi,

My friend has just launched an e-magazine which talk about the night life in vancouver. I think he probably wants to generate revenue from this website. He made this website with very minimal cost as he asked his friends for helping with no wage. He wants us to leave some feedbacks for his magazine if you have time.

In my opinion, this website is fancy and cool. It does fit his theme of night life.
However, in term of e business. I don't think it can generate income unless his partner who has in charge of marketing has lots of connection of local clubs.

Followings are the areas that I think he needs to improve.
1) Search Engine Optimazation (SEO) - I try to google key words like night life in vancouver, clubbing, restaurant etc. I can't see his website on the list. This won't bring any traffic to his website, i.e. it cannot attract sponsors

2) User UNfriendly - Although it looks cool and fancy, it makes people hard to read and find the information. This makes viewer not to stay longer.

3)Subcription is still under constuction - It should be a good function to retain traffic and to show sponsor how popular his website. However, this function is still not working by now.

4) limited marketing - now he only focus on facebook marketing and word of mouth. He invits his friends to join nisy group on the facebook only. He may have limited resources, but this will not boost lots of traffic for the websites
