Making Ideas Stick - Must-Read for Students in Marketing/Sales

One of my favourite books I want to share with you is:

Making it Stick by Chip and Dan Heath

 

It's a fun, humour read that breaks down the key ingredients that will help people remember your idea and move them to action. It was extremely useful for me and it provides some great ideas for sales pitching.

 

According to the book, the key points are:

S - simple, filter ideas down to the number-one key benefit

U - unexpecteded, funny or something not new

C - conrete, use terms people can relate to

C - credible, bring in testimony from people of knowledge

E - emotional, get people to personally care about your idea

S - story, use a story to tie elements together
