With reference to our chat in class this week about carrots and sticks I thought it best to confirm some ways that you can lose grades in BUS477: 

-5% of the assignment.  Not using required email subject line in email communications or document name for soft copy submissions.  Please see FAQ for guidelines.

-5% of the assignment.  Not submitting both soft and hard copies of an assignment.  Please see FAQ for guidelines.

-10% of the assignment.  Not footnoting the source of information you reference in an assignment.  

-10% of your community participation grade.  Not showing up for the guest speaker segment of the class or attending the Ken Spencer competition.  I will take attendance at the start and finish of the segment.  The penalty is cumulative, so miss 5 segments and lose half of your total community participation grade.
