BUS477 Online Mentor - Jim StewartAlthough we are more than 1/2 way through the semester, I thought it would help you to introduce another resource to the course. As a bit of an experiment, Jim Stewart has offered to help our class as an online mentor. What does an online mentor do? Well, we're inventing as we go! For now, Jim will help me monitor the "Other" category of our Class Discussion Forum where we discuss entrepreneurial issues that aren't specific to assignments, agendas and team dynamics. Jim will also act as a sounding board when it comes to providing feedback on your assignments from the real world perspective of a results-oriented business manager. Who is Jim? Jim Stewart is a successful entrepreneur with a global perspective. Like many successful entrepreneurs, Jim dedicates some of his time to sharing his experience with those who are looking for help and guidance along the path to entrepreneurial success. Since he currently lives in California, Jim's focus has been on mentoring students at California State University (CSU) in Fullerton. Jim grew up in a family business environment in Canada, adapted to businesses in ranching, heavy construction equipment, and International marketing and consulting in Canada, the United States and Japan.
